How to Replace the Windows XP Welcome Screen :
Welcome Screen is one of the distinguishing features of Windows XP with Windows-Windows before. With the Welcome Screen, we are getting spoiled in terms of ease of selecting a user and also in visual terms. But, if we have windows with automatic windows update it will make the Windows Login Screen earlier known as the Classic Logon as a basis for the Windows XP display. but we can still use the new logon screen windows in the following manner:
Open the Registry Editor.
Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows NT \ CurrentVersion \ Winlogon.
Then look for value named LogonType.
If we want the Classic Logon, then give the value 0.
But, if we want the Welcome Screen / New Logon, give a value of 1.
After that, close the Registry Editor and restart the PC.
Open the Registry Editor.
