Some tips for increasing your computer & Internet speed
1. Do Disk cleanup on regular basis: Go to run (or press win key+r) > type cleanmgr and delete all unnecessary files.
Do once in a 2-3 days.
2. Delete temporary files & folders: Go to run Go to run (or press win key+r) > type %temp% and delete all files from here
Do once in a 2-3 days.
3. Do defragmentation on regular basics: Right click on any drive> go to properties> Tools tab> Choose Defragmentation
Do once in a week.
4. Delete unnecessary prefetch files: Prefetch files are used by windows for fetching installed softwares at start time, but sometimes we do delete any software, n then file related to that software become unnecessary, so it must be deleted.
For it: Go to run (or press win key+r) > type prefetch & delete unnecessary files.
If you are in doubt about which files to delete, I recommend to delete all files in prefetch folder, as windows will generate necessary files at next startup of the system.
5. Remove unwanted programs from startup: Go to run (or press win key+r) > type msconfig > go to StartUp tab and uncheck all unnecessary applications which starts automatically while your windows boot.
6. Delete your browser cookies and caches at regular basics as it might slow down your Internet speed.
Do once in a 7-10 days.
7. Make your operating system installed drive (Mostly drive C) free as more as you can.
All above tips are useful, if you follow all above, then surely you will see slightly difference in your computer & Internet speed or you can say you will get perfect efficiency from your computer & bandwidth provided to you.
